(AMBI 642) Onsite Introduction to Research Ethics: This course is designed to provide an introduction to research ethics for students combining the Masters in Bioethics with Doctoral studies in the basic sciences. Students will complete AMC 507 and AMC 612, courses required of all Ph.D. students, prior to entering the program. Students who have completed these courses will prepare for and complete a written examination. This will be a competency based evaluation in which students will be asked to apply the principles and techniques of moral reasoning to the evaluation of research ethics scenarios. 3 credits-Pass/Fail.
